ProVisions, LLC  and Brown & Company of Park City are pleased to offer the Whisper Valley Ranch, located in a unique Wasatch Mountain Range setting near Park City/Wanship, Utah.   The site features 550 pristine acres of rolling meadows, forested glades and glorious mountain views.   This vast, self-contained scenic canvas affords unique privacy and seclusion, with close proximity to the skiing, shopping,   gastronomical and four season recreational offerings of Park City, Deer Valley & Jordanelle Lake State Park.   The Whisper Valley Ranch is available for sale or build to suit.
     As you ride along the ancient trail of the old Overland State and Pony Express route, you can hear the  whisper of history all around you; a silent presence,  a layering of years  over the quietude of a green, peaceful valley which welcomed  the first local settlers to the “Frontier of the Old West” near Park City, Circa 1860.
     The Whisper Valley Ranch, once comprised of thousands of acres, was homesteaded by a courageous pioneer whose family enjoyed generations of success in the ranching business.  In yesteryear, the Stage & Pony Express routes were navigated by landmarks and passed by this ranch.  This route later became the Old Lincoln Highway in the early 1900’s, roughly paralleling what we know as Interstate I-80 now.
     Landmarks were unusual rocks like the “Castle Rock” (a perfect four cornered parapet), which the Stage would pass before coming to the “Winged Rock” where the US Army camped in 1858.  Next stop was the “Hanging Rock” Pony express station.  After passing the “Jack-in-the-Pulpit Rock”, the riders and passengers could look up to the right and see the “Whispering Rock” in the distance, located on the Whisper Valley Ranch. 
When Whisper Rock was sighted it meant only 6+/- miles to go, before reaching the Kimball Junction Stage Coach Inn, outside Park City.   The old Inn still stands.  Part of that ranch is now home to the Glenwild Golf Community (currently rated #1 Golf Course by Golf Magazine).
     After the contemporary heirs of Whisper Valley Ranch moved on, 550 acres remained.  These beautiful rolling hills, gentle canyons and breathtaking promontories are the heart of the Whisper Valley ranch as we know it today.  Blissfully quiet, yet so close to the world class skiing, golfing and exciting night life Park City, Deer Valley & The Canyons are known for!  
     And yes, near the center of the ranch still stands the imposing and original Whisper Rock.
